Archery

Plainview High School Archery Team is open to all students in Grades 4-12. All students are eligible. We participate in about 15 meets per year. We have had
students qualify for the State Meet for the last seven years. We shoot bullseye targets at distances of 10 and 15 meters and shoot 3D animal targets at varying distances. The standard equipment used is the Genesis standard bow by Mathews with Easton 1830 NASP arrows. Ownership of bows
and arrows is optional. We are affiliated with National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) and Archery in Louisiana Schools (ALAS). Our coach Mr. Troy Thibodeaux is NASP certified. For questions, please email Troy.Thibodeaux@rpsb.us or call 318-634-5944
